lego
Recently I decided I should slowly on acquire some lego, so that when kids come over they can actually do stuff besides watch TV. So I went to the Kijiji website and set things up to notify me anytime an ad was posted with the word "lego" in it. Good deals last a matter of hours so you have to be on the ball.
Yesterday a decent-looking deal came up so I jumped on it right away. I drove to the seller's place around supper time to see what they had to offer...
...and drove home feeling like it was Christmas! Here's what a 30lb garbage bag's worth of lego looks like:
I wasn't really sure what I'd purchased until I got home and dumped it all on the floor. There's lots of basic stuff, all sorts of sets that may or may not be complete, and some useless stuff that just fills the cracks. A fine start indeed.
I guess I'll be cleaning and drying lego for the next few days!
hey, fun!

ReplyDeleteNicole says you need to buy some dolls just in case Claire comes to play! And are you sure you won't play with that cool castle looking base? :)

ReplyDeleteResponse to Brian's comment on the last post-Why would anyone want to when he marries into such a wonderful family:)
ReplyDeleteWow...Carl would be over to play in a heartbeat! Imagine the days you could fill and work you could ignore with Lego AND Axis & Allies!
